Use the 'A' + 'D' keys to move, space to jump, and the left mouse button to attack.
An early idea for a new game. Made for the Retro Platformer Jam, hosted by Joshua McLean.
Has a bunch of bugs, will update eventually :')
EDIT: Thank you for the amazing feedback!
Thanks for taking a look :)

A cute little game with awesome animation, the bugs, although unintentional, were actually rather entertaining, a sea of obstacles, hidden to the naked eye. Watching the tiny man strut across the screen, arms flailing, was extremely entertaining and the blood spurts shooting out from the corpses of your enemies were cool. Great prototype with lots of potential.
Thanks! :p I’ll most likely sort the major bugs but leave a few in. Also I’m glad you liked the art considering going that was about the only part of the game that worked! I’ll work on the game and hopefully have a finished product by next year. Thanks for your godly comment :D
I like jumping, I feel powerful with that jump :)
thanks! I increased the gravity scale and jump force. Maybe it’s a bit too high?
Alright imma do the cons first. You were right about bugs. There are like spots where u cant walk forward and you have to jump over an invisible barrier or something. The enemy/person thing doesn't really do anything except die when you stab it. Took me a second to figure out that you have to click to stab things. Now the pros. The little blood animation that happens when the big dude dies is pretty cool. The main characters walking animation looks actually pretty smooth. I like how you used so little colors and still managed to make a decent looking scene. All in all it entertained me for like 5 minutes.
Thanks for your reply! Yeah, I just found out that there was a collider on an invisible object which is causing the invisible barrier. I'm going to keep working on it an making the enemy attack, and add dialogue to teach you the controls better.
